Short Description
R-Guard® FastFlash® is a high-performance, fluid-applied flashing membrane that provides seamless air and water protection for building envelopes. This single-component, silyl-terminated polymer (STP) adhesive and detailing compound bonds to damp or dry surfaces, eliminating the need for reinforcing tapes. Durable, flexible, and UV-resistant, it ensures long-term waterproofing around rough openings, joints, and transitions.
R-Guard® FastFlash® is a gun-grade, fluid-applied flashing membrane designed to create durable, watertight air and moisture barriers in commercial and residential construction. This single-component, silyl-terminated polymer (STP) formulation allows for easy application with a gun, spreader, or roller, forming a seamless, elastomeric flashing membrane that withstands extreme weather conditions.
Unlike traditional tapes and mechanical flashing systems, FastFlash® adheres directly to damp or dry substrates, eliminating the need for joint reinforcing tapes at sheathing joints, corners, and penetrations. It provides flexible, crack-bridging protection that ensures airtight, waterproof transitions between windows, doors, and wall assemblies.
FastFlash® can be left exposed to UV and weather conditions for up to 12 months, making it an ideal fast-track construction solution. Its solvent-free, isocyanate-free, and phthalate-free formulation ensures safe, low-VOC application.
