AIR-SHIELD™ LM is a liquid-applied, water-based, polymer-modified air, vapor, and liquid moisture barrier designed to prevent air leakage and moisture infiltration in commercial and residential buildings. This seamless, elastomeric membrane adheres to concrete, masonry, CMU, plywood, metal, and exterior sheathing, providing exceptional durability, flexibility, and weather resistance. Easy to apply by spray, roller, or brush, it ensures long-term building envelope protection.
AIR-SHIELD™ LM is a high-performance, liquid-applied air, vapor, and liquid moisture barrier engineered to enhance building energy efficiency and prevent moisture damage. This water-based asphalt emulsion is modified with synthetic polymers to create a seamless, durable, and elastomeric membrane that conforms to irregular surfaces and seals joints, penetrations, and sheathing seams.
Designed for commercial, industrial, and residential construction, AIR-SHIELD™ LM is suitable for above-grade wall assemblies, cavity walls, and precast concrete applications. It can be applied using a single-component spray, roller, or brush, or as a co-spray system with W. R. MEADOWS CURE-IT, achieving a nominal 45-mil dry film thickness.
This flexible air barrier exceeds ABAA (Air Barrier Association of America) performance standards and provides low permeability, exceptional adhesion, and resistance to water infiltration. It is VOC-compliant, non-toxic, and phthalate-free, making it an environmentally friendly solution for air and moisture control.
